Workshops & Training

Build
capability.

Hands-on AI and automation workshops for New Zealand teams. We strip away the jargon and give people practical experience with the tools, using examples from their own work.

Knowledge Transfer

What we run.

We don't just build things for you; we teach you how to build them yourself. Sessions run from a two-hour team workshop to a structured programme, and each one can be shaped around the room.

01

AI for Executives

  • 2 hours
  • up to 8 attendees

Strategic frameworks for understanding where AI adds value and where it adds risk, aimed at the people making the decisions rather than the people implementing them.

02

Practical Prompting

  • 2 hours
  • up to 20 attendees

A hands-on session to uplift your team's understanding of what's genuinely possible with today's AI tools, and how to ask good questions of the technology. Covers the basics of what different tools can (and can't) do, plus the adoption considerations that matter—ethics, security, legal and policy. Builds a shared foundation across the business.

03

Automation Fundamentals

  • 2 hours
  • up to 8 attendees

Learn to connect your favourite tools and build simple workflows without writing code, so your team can spot and handle the next candidate for automation themselves.

04

AI Opportunity Discovery Session

  • 4 hours
  • up to 10 people

A facilitated session—with a specific focus or a whole-of-business lens—to uncover where your best AI opportunities lie, prioritise them, and agree a clear starting point. Outputs an opportunity roadmap so your business can make informed decisions about adoption and value.

05

Individual Coaching

  • One-on-one
  • usually 2-hour blocks

One-on-one coaching to build practical, applied AI skills at a pace that suits the individual—commonly consumed in two-hour blocks, though this is flexible. Only the hours actually delivered are invoiced.

06

Claude-ify Your Business

  • Individual
  • two 4-hour sessions

A structured programme to embed Claude into daily work. Session A is a four-hour initial setup, configuration and core-skills session. A period of self-paced practice follows. Session B is a four-hour follow-up that builds on those skills and puts Claude to work in your business. Delivered as a fixed-price package.

07

How to Make Your Website Stand Out in a World of AI

  • Team workshop
  • length to suit the group

Search is no longer the only way customers find you. AI assistants now answer the question directly, and they pick what to quote using signals most teams have never tracked—so a page that ranks perfectly well can still go unmentioned. This session covers AIO, or AI Optimisation: the practical changes that help AI tools find your pages, trust what's on them, and quote them accurately. You'll leave knowing how to structure your copy, your data and your schema so your business is what comes back when someone asks an AI rather than a search engine. Also available as individual coaching or for a private group.

Tell us who's attending and we'll confirm numbers and price before anything is booked.

Who they're for.

Sessions are shaped around the room. Tell us who's attending and what they're stuck on, and we'll build the afternoon around that.

Leadership teams

Executives and managers who need to make decisions about AI without becoming engineers. We focus on where it adds value, where it adds risk, and what to ask vendors.

Operations and admin teams

The people doing the repetitive work. We show them what can be handed to a tool and how to spot the next candidate themselves.

Whole small businesses

For smaller teams, one session covering everyone tends to work better than training people separately—everybody leaves with the same vocabulary.

What you leave with
  • A shared vocabulary, so AI conversations inside your business stop talking past each other.
  • Hands-on practice with the tools your team will actually use, on your own real examples.
  • A clear sense of which tasks are worth automating and which genuinely are not.
  • Practical guidance on privacy, accuracy and where a human has to stay in the loop.
Speaking Engagements

Talks that leave
people clearer.

Conferences, industry groups, boards and in-house briefings. We talk about what AI and automation actually change for New Zealand businesses—including the parts that haven't lived up to the promises.

What we're asked to speak about

What AI actually changes for a small business

A plain-language tour of where AI has genuinely shifted the ground for New Zealand businesses, and where the change has been overstated.

AI without the hype

The uncomfortable half of the conversation: what these tools get wrong, what they cost, and the jobs they are still bad at.

Automation that disappears

Why the best automation is the work you stop noticing, and how to find the handful of tasks in any business that are worth handing over.

The missed-call problem

What always-on voice agents do to a business that runs on the phone, and what it takes to make one people don't hang up on.

Getting found when customers ask an AI

Search is no longer the only front door. How AI assistants decide what to quote, and what that means for the way you write and structure a website.

Writing an AI policy your team will follow

Staff are already using these tools. Setting out what's safe to put into them, how that sits with the Privacy Act, and who signs off on what.

Formats

  • Conference keynote or breakout session
  • Panel appearance, or chairing one
  • In-house briefing for a leadership team or board
  • Industry group, chamber or guest lecture

How we work

  • Tell us the audience and the slot length, and the talk is shaped to fit—not a stock deck with your logo on it.
  • Examples come from New Zealand businesses, not overseas case studies that don't translate.
  • No sales pitch from the stage.
